3-Ingredient PEANUT BUTTER OAT SQUARES #healthydiet #weighloss

3-Ingredient PEANUT BUTTER OAT SQUARES #healthydiet #weighloss

For what reason does everything that is awful for you taste SOOOO darn great?! Alright, perhaps not all that matters. I do love my leafy foods, yet I'd much rather eat 3 servings of Oreos or a gigantic bowl brimming with dessert sometimes– hi, sugar! Regardless of how trained I am, I generally appear to need something sweet, particularly after a supper. On the off chance that this sound like you, as well, I have a couple of formulas that you are going to LOVE!

A hardest aspect concerning eating well is that most solid formulas dependably appear to require a great deal of work and time, or fixings that you don't have close by (requiring an excursion to the wellbeing sustenance store—meh!). In any case, here are a couple of 3-Ingredient and simple formulas that taste AWESOME! The majority of them can be made with fixings you most likely as of now have (eggs and bananas appear to be the champs here), and none of them will use up every last cent. No more reasons. 🙂

This snappy, no-prepare treat is simply too great to even consider passing up! My children adore them, and I absolutely don't feel remorseful eating a couple of squares myself. No doubt, they have some sugar but at the same time they're loaded with fiber and protein– unquestionably superior to anything the locally acquired squares!

3-Ingredient PEANUT BUTTER OAT SQUARES #healthydiet #weighloss

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup honey
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Line a 9×9 pan with non-stick foil, or regular foil as long as you use a non-stick spray.
  2. Melt the honey and peanut butter together until it’s smooth enough to mix with the oats. I do this in the microwave for approximately 1-2 minutes because it’s faster, but you can also melt it on the stove top if you’d prefer.
  3. Combine the mixture with the oats (start off with 2 cups and slowly add the rest as you may need less depending on your peanut butter and honey brand), and then mix well.
  4. Pour it into your prepared pan, and then store it in the refrigerator for a few hours until it’s set enough to cut into squares. You can store them in the refrigerator to keep them firm, or leave them out if you like them soft and sticky.
TIPS:
  1. Unfortunately, this recipe doesn’t work as well with natural peanut butter (the stir kind), so don’t try it. I’d much prefer natural peanut butter, but it doesn’t really melt or hold things together for me, although I’ve had reviewers that have said it worked for them. I suppose it really just depends on the brand.
  2. Try substituting the oats for Cheerios or other similar cereals.
  3. Feel free to mix in other things like peanuts, flax seed, or mini chocolate chips. If you do decide to add chocolate chips, sprinkle them on the top after it cools for 5 minutes instead of mixing them in because they will melt.
